Beautiful film. Moving to tears. Wonderful teaser up front as well: "When we rely on our legs to move us through the world, our minds can drift to the things that really matter." Of course, the piece flips around that theme to form another as well: Allowing our legs to move us through the world perhaps opens us up to sharing--opens us up, period.

As others have said, this is a great film. I just have one suggestion (or maybe a question) that the date of production be added in the description. Before sending the link to a runner friend of mine, I began to wonder if I had sent it some time ago. By searching my old email, I found that I had sent the link in November 2013. Did I miss something in the description, or is the date of production just not shown? This is not a a complaint. To me, everything about Aeon magazine is great.
