Phil Jaekl is a cognitive neuroscientist and writer. He studied at York University in Toronto, and completed his postdoctoral research at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona and the University of Rochester in New York. His writing appears in The Atlantic and The Guardian, among others. He lives in Tromsø in Norway, and is currently writing his debut nonfiction book.
