Meeting your boyfriend’s family is hard. Agata must travel 3,000 miles. And she’s blind

A subtle reflection on the interplay between relationships and human sensory experience, Touch Life follows Agata, a young, blind Polish woman, as she plans to travel from her home in Scotland to Massachusetts to meet the friends and family of Matt, her sighted boyfriend from the United States. Endearing and deftly crafted, the short film follows Agata in her daily routines as she readies herself to be seen for the first time in Matt’s world. Touch Life screened at the 2014 Edinburgh International Film Festival, the 2015 London Short Film Festival and the 2015 Open City Documentary Festival.
