Ayşe Zarakol

Ayşe Zarakol is professor of international relations at the University of Cambridge, where she also has an appointment as a politics fellow at Emmanuel College. Her books include After Defeat: How the East Learned to Live with the West (Cambridge University Press, 2011) and Before the West: the Rise and Fall of Eastern World Orders (CUP, 2022).
