Gordon Peake is a consultant on conflict resolution, political economy and development, and the author of Beloved Land: Stories, Struggles, and Secrets from Timor-Leste (Scribe, 2014) and Unsung Land, Aspiring Nation: Journeys in Bougainville (ANU Press, forthcoming in 2022). He lives in Washington, DC, where he is an affiliate at the Center for Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Studies at Georgetown University.
