Lachlan Summers is three children in a postdoctoral researcher-shaped trenchcoat at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science, where he is a member of the ‘Time Scales: Historicizing Deep Time’ working group. He grew up in northeastern Australia and now lives in Berlin.
