Steven French is professor emeritus of philosophy of science at the University of Leeds, UK. He has published numerous books and articles on the history and philosophy of science, especially physics. His most recent book is A Phenomenological Approach to Quantum Mechanics (2023) which attempts to resurrect an overlooked understanding of quantum theory.
