By signing up to become a Recurring Supporter of Aeon, you accept these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
Who we are
We are a not-for-profit, registered charity operated by Aeon Media Group Ltd (ABN 80 612 076 614). Donations received for Aeon are accepted through either (1) our affiliate company, Aeon America Inc (EIN 81-3741044), which is tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code in the US or (2) Aeon Media Group Ltd - Gift Fund which is listed on the Australian Government's Register of Cultural Organisations, and endorsed as a deductible gift recipient, under Subdivision 30-BA of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997.
Donations made by US taxpayers to Aeon America Inc are tax-deductible, and you will receive a tax receipt from Aeon America Inc. Donations above A$2 made by Australian taxpayers to Aeon Media Group Ltd are tax-deductible, and you will receive a tax receipt from Aeon Media Group Ltd - Gift Fund. Donations are tax-deductible to the donor to the extent allowed under applicable law.

When you become a Recurring Supporter of Aeon, you authorise us to deduct a donation each billing period, at the then-current rate, to the payment account you provide when you signed up to support Aeon.
‘Billing period’ means monthly if you choose to pay monthly or annual if you choose to pay annually.
If you choose to pay monthly for your Aeon donation, payment will be charged to your chosen payment account each month. If you choose to pay annually for your Aeon donation, the total annual fee for the year will be charged to your chosen payment account 12 months after you made your first payment and annually thereafter.
Your recurring Aeon donation will continue at the end of each billing period until you cancel it (please see below for details regarding how you can cancel your recurring Aeon donation). If you choose to pay for your Aeon donation annually, we will send you a reminder 30 days prior to the date when your Aeon Recurring Supporter donation is going to renew. You must cancel your recurring donation before it renews at the start of the next billing period in order to avoid the next billing period’s donation being billed to your payment account.

There are generally no refunds or credits made for Aeon donations. However, if you believe a charge was made in error, rather than lodging a dispute, please contact us first at firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can resolve it quickly and arrange a refund if appropriate. Disputes lodged with financial institutions may result in charges to Aeon, which can be costly for a charity.
You may cancel your recurring Aeon donation at any time. If you would like to change or cancel your ongoing credit card donation, you can do this directly from your user account by clicking on the ‘donations’ tab on your profile page. Or, contact us at email@example.com. If you would like to change or cancel your ongoing donation via PayPal, simply log in to your PayPal account.
