David Grinspoon is an astrobiologist, award-winning science communicator, and prize-winning author. He is a senior scientist at the Planetary Science Institute and an adjunct professor of astrophysical and planetary science at the University of Colorado. His technical papers have been published in Science and Nature and his popular writing has been featured in The New York TimesSlate, Scientific American, The Boston Globe, The Los Angeles Times, and many more. His latest book is Earth in Human Hands: Shaping Our Planet’s Future (2016).
