Garet Lahvis

Neuroscientist and Author, Harvard Law School

Garet Lahvis PhD is a former professor of behavioural neuroscience. His laboratory developed techniques for assessing empathy and social reward in mice. He is a Visiting Fellow at the Brooks McCormick Jr Animal Law and Policy Program at Harvard Law School. Dr Lahvis is currently writing a book for the University of Chicago Press that explores the human and scientific challenges of studying animal sentience.
