Justine Kolata
Founder, Director, The Public Sphere
Justine Kolata is the founder and director of The Public Sphere, a non profit cultural organization that works to revive the enlightenment tradition of salon culture and strengthen structures of participatory demoncracy. She is pursuing a PhD at the University of Cambridge on enlightenment salon culture and conceptions of Bildung, self-cultivation, and die schöne Seele, the beautiful soul, in German philosophy.
