Kathryn Nave is a PhD student in philosophy at the University of Edinburgh, working on Andy Clark’s European Research Council-funded project ‘Expecting Ourselves’, which aims to investigate the nature of conscious experience in the predictive brain. She is also a science and technology journalist, primarily as a contributing editor for WIRED Magazine.
