Lauri Nummenmaa

Lauri Nummenmaa is an associate professor in medical image analysis the University of Turku in Finland, where he leads the Human Emotion Systems laboratory at Turku PET Centre and Department of Psychology. Nummenmaa studies emotions and the molecular mechanisms of bright and dark sides of human psyche. His work ranges from brain basis of aggression and psychopathy to the neural circuits generating experiences of bliss, delight and love.
