Lilian Calles Barger is an intellectual, cultural and gender historian of the Americas. Her latest book is The World Come of Age: An Intellectual History of Liberation Theology ( Oxford Univeristy Press, 2018) and she is the author of two trade books on women and religion and has spoken extensively on the topic. She is currently researching the history of feminist thought and the gender revolution, and lives in Taos, New Mexico.
