Lisa Bortolotti is professor of philosophy at the University of Birmingham. She is leading an ERC-funded project on the psychological and epistemic benefits of false and irrational beliefs (PERFECT). She is the author of Delusions and Other Irrational Beliefs (2009), and Irrationality (2014).
