Max Harris is an examination fellow and PhD student at All Souls College, Oxford. He qualified as a lawyer in New Zealand, has worked as a consultant for the United Nations Development Programme, and has been an organiser in various criminal justice and anticolonial campaigns. His writing has been published in the New Statesman, openDemocracy.net, The Huffington Post, The Pantograph Punch, and PopMatters.com, and his first book is The New Zealand Project (2017).
