Menno Schilthuizen is an ecologist and evolutionary biologist at Naturalis Biodiversity Center in Leiden in the Netherlands. He holds a chair in evolution at Leiden University. His latest book is Darwin Comes to Town: How the Urban Jungle Drives Evolution (2018).
