Owen Hatherley is a writer and editor living in south-east London. His work has been published in Architectural Review, The Guardian and the London Review of Books, and he is a commissioning editor at Jacobin. His books include A Guide to the New Ruins of Great Britain (Verso, 2010), Landscapes of Communism (Penguin, 2015), Artificial Islands (Repeater, 2022), and Transitional Objects (the modernist, 2023).
