Pernille Yilmam

Pernille Yilmam, PhD, is the founder and CEO of Mind Blossom, a 501(c)(3) public charity providing free-of-cost mental health education to under-resourced and historically marginalised communities. She received her PhD from Emory University and finished a short post-doctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. Inspired by her own personal experiences, Pernille left academia with the purpose of creating tangible changes to mental healthcare and prevention through technology and mental health education. She now serves as a consultant, educator and speaker on the topic of mental health for companies, universities, schools and community-based organisations.
