It sounds like we’re all in agreement - the enemy of good conversation, according to Montaigne (not a philosopher, French literature!) So, if we don’t get a ‘disagreer’ soon then I’ll have to use one of the strategies I use in the classroom when unanimity threatens: the ‘imaginary disagreer’: what would someone say if they disagreed with the piece? I’ll come back to this if there’s still not a disagreer once I return from work today.
