Yogi Hale Hendlin

Assistant Professor in Environmental Philosophy/Member of the Center to End Corporate Harm, Erasmus University Rotterdam, The Netherlands/University of California, San Francisco

Yogi Hale Hendlin is Principal of the Feral Ecologies Lab, is assistant professor in the School of Philosophy and core faculty in the Dynamics of Inclusive Prosperity Initiative at Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands, and conducts research with the Center to End Corporate Harm at the University of California, San Francisco. Hendlin is the editor-in-chief of the journal Biosemiotics, and was academic director for the Sustainability Transitions MA programme at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Hendlin’s co-edited books include Food and Medicine: A Biosemiotic Perspective (2021), and Being Algae: Transformations in Water, Plants (2024).
