The site Beautiful Chemistry is a collaboration between the University of Science and Technology of China and Tsinghua University Press, and it aims to ‘bring the beauty of chemistry to the general public’. Beautiful Chemical Reactions is part of the collaboration’s ongoing video series, which features stunning ultra-high-definition macro footage. An eclectic mix of chemical reactions unfolding up close, the video reveals the multitude of colours, shapes and patterns that emerge when molecules meet.
