Anna Parker is a historian and writer. She is Past and Present Fellow at the Institute for Historical Research at the University of London, where her work focuses on central Europe, the home and visual/material culture. She has a PhD in History from Cambridge – where she occasionally teaches – and previously held a postdoctoral fellowship at the Society for Renaissance Studies. She has written for the Times Literary Supplement, Granta and The Guardian, among others.
