Thanks so much for reading the article, and for sharing all your comments, experiences, and insights. I am not sure if I can respond to everyone in detail but there are some really interesting points I’d like to respond to.

Firstly, several people have brought attention to the fact that the needs of individuals who are ‘high functioning’ are very different the needs of people who may be non-verbal and/or need different forms of care.
