Diana Sue Kim is assistant professor in the Edmund A Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, and a core faculty member of the Asian Studies Program. Her latest book is Empires of Vice: The Rise of Opium Prohibition Across Southeast Asia (2020). She lives in Washington, DC.
