Matthew Champion is a multi-awardwinning historian, writer and archaeologist. He is widely considered to be one of the UK’s leading experts on early graffiti inscriptions, and works extensively for a wide range of heritage organisations such as the National Trust. His latest full-length publication, Medieval Graffiti: The Lost Voices of England’s Churches was published by Ebury Press in 2015.
