Nathaniel Comfort is the Baruch Blumberg Chair of Astrobiology at NASA/Library of Congress and professor of history of medicine at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. His latest book is The Science of Human Perfection: How Genes Became the Heart of American Medicine (2012).
