Stacey McKenna is a research assistant professor in medical anthropology at the University of Colorado in Denver, and a freelance journalist. Her writing has been published at Narratively, STIR Journal, and The Development Set, among others. She is working on turning her ethnographic research with methamphetamine users into a graphic non-fiction book.
