A child demands calm from a chaotic world in a beguiling, haunting poem
‘Sit down, world, and relax…’
The Preschool Poets is a short film series that pairs professional animation with poems written by four-year-olds. In this instalment, Bullets, the young poet Brayden seemingly attempts to find – or perhaps even demand – calm in a chaotic world. His words are perfectly paired with the Ukrainian animator Stas Santimov’s distinctive and fantastical animation, which sees a man sitting in a peaceful, meditative posture, even as threats arise around him.
